🔥 OPEN BETA IS GOING LIVE 🔥 I know everyone is excited to learn about the latest progress on Open Beta so we are releasing our bi-weekly dev blog 1 day earlier than usual, please find our bi-weekly dev blog #22 here - 📔 Summary: A) Game and Web 3 Development - We have been approved by both Apple App Store and Google Play Store this week! Open Beta will go live on Wednesday, 20 April 2022 17:00 which is in 2 days, details on how to download the game will be made clear with a separate announcement at that time - As we release Open Beta, it is important to clarify what Open Beta is and is not - it is NOT a full game release or a game launch; IT IS one of the testing stages on our way towards full game release and a way for our community and partners to experience our progress first-hand - The next step after Open Beta is to continue to refine game mechanics and work towards hosting an internal GFC community tournament (late April/early May) and then finally we arrive at the cross-IP tournament which will be accompanied by mass marketing (late May/early June) - Refining the P2E system and integrating it will be a separate track that is run simultaneously to the tournament track, final integration of P2E system will come after our Q2 milestones including the tournaments/mass marketing and GFC land sale B) Business Development & Marketing - Twitter is verified! Please make sure you are following our official Twitter account @GalaxyFight_NFT - We finalised two big partnerships this month with Ethlizards and Llamaverse, we also hosted AMAs with them - Hosted a surprise giveaway of 500 Arlens (from Illuvium) NFTs on our discord, the Arlens will be airdropped to the winners within the next 48 hours C) Community - Thank you for all those who took part in naming 4 of the Gen 2 races, welcoming Friga, Obsidian, Glorken and Polaris as the first 4 community-named races in the GFC Universe to our family - We hope the community likes the 1/1 they have received from the vials, while these 1/1 NFTs will allow users to access a stronger character (than the normal gen 2 that it was mutated from), we would like to clarify that we do not currently plan to create unique custom avatars for each of the 1/1s - Royal Rumble and Poker Games were hosted with the winner walking away from a Wakizashi weapon, the next tournament is scheduled for mid May
